Last month, an event stylist/photographer named Kelly Anderson contacted me to see if she could use my navy, teal, mint garland for a photo shoot and TV segment on her local morning show, Twin Cities Live. The segment and shoot were all about kid-friendly 4th of July party ideas. Here is the link to the video. You can see my garlands hanging from the star piñata. Hope to have some photos to share from Kelly's photo shoot soon!
A few months ago Lauren of Lauren Fair Photography contacted me about helping with decorations for a styled shoot/surprise engagement for Greg and Olivia of Willow Tree Films. My parents were coming to visit the day of the shoot but Lauren was nice enough to let me provide some decorations for the occasion. I made the chair sashes/garlands out of hand sewn lace flowers and tulle in shades of bright and pastel pink, lovebead seating cards in pinks for Olivia and teal for Greg, and matching heart cake toppers to fit in with the "Bohemian Glam" theme.
I am so excited to share that this styled shoot was featured on 100 Layer Cake!!!!
The photos were absolutely beautiful and extra special because they captured such an important event in these two people's lives.
This is the first time I have had anything featured on a wedding blog since my own wedding, and to see some of my decorations on one of my most favorite wedding blogs is kinda a big deal!
